atEvent is a fast-growing start-up providing mobile applications that help companies generate qualified leads and engage prospects at events. Since launching in 2013, we have achieved great market recognition and customer response and are looking to add new dynamic individuals to our diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and actively pursuing a list of targeted Key Accounts to uncover new opportunities
  • Identify, nurture and close opportunities with both new and existing customers
  • Meeting and exceeding quarterly sales goals as assigned for all atEvent products
  • Execute the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to post-sales handoff
    • Lead generation / prospecting
    • Set up demos / presentations / meetings
    • Deliver prospect demos/presentations over the web or in-person
    • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sale as required
    • Complete sales orders and other documentation required for deal closure
    • Handoff to account management and implementation team
    • Participate in quarterly account reviews
  • Monitor and report sales activity and accurately forecast sales opportunities/pipeline
  • Work with the Account Management team and Technology teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction with atEvent’s solutions and organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of successful quota-carrying sales experience, ideally in B2B software-as-a-service or mobile technology sales.
  • Proven track record in closing deals following the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, cold calling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, and post-sales activities and support
  • Proven track record of building and managing a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Results driven and able to achieve/exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales quotas
  • Ability to multi-task and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.com or similar CRM system
  • Moderate amount of travel will be required for this position
  • Willingness to attend events and tradeshows to generate qualified leads
